I can’t believe this is my “job”. I get to make so many meaningful connections to so many people and gift them with memories to last for years to come, and for that I’m so grateful!
When I first dipped my toe into film and digital photography in my high school class at 16, I was hooked. Fast forward about 10 years and a few cameras later, I feel the most confident when I have my Nikon in my hands. There’s something about showing my client the back of my camera in the middle of a shoot to see their reactions just gives me all of the warm fuzzy feelings.
...Then I fell in love with the variety of connections and journeys I have become apart of. My job is simply not just clicking a button. My job is standing on chairs or laying on the ground to get the shot, holding a bride’s train as we walk into golden hour, making crazy noises to get a baby or dog to look my way, calling a couple “so cute!” about a thousand times during their engagement session, and so much more.
